It is exactly two years since we took over the mantle of leadership in Nigeria. A child that was given birth to two years ago can perfectly walk by now , a marriage of two years that has been well consummated without any medical or spiritual encumbrances must have produced at least a baby by now , a farmer who planted seeds two years ago should have enjoyed maximum cultivation. Hence we have no excuse for failure. We must take responsibility for what we have done and what we failed to do.

This my subtle lamentation is premised on the fact that my loyalty is first to God, my country, my conscience and then my party . As a party man, It is hard to say that we have failed, but the truth is that we have failed. The truth is bitter but it is the truth and according to Galilee Galileo, truth is the daughter of time. Budha further suggested that ” Blessed is he that overcomes his ego and know the truth”

We have truly failed Nigerians, Nigerians who were fed up by PDP misrule decided to give us their mandate. A mandate we have abused with utmost negligence, egocentrism, dogmatism and impunity .

We promised Nigerians stable power supply and today the epileptic situation of power supply has worsen and Nigerians have continued to lived in darkdom.

We promised Nigeria we will fight corruption but we have only succeeded making noise about it without any conviction for two years . Political corruption might have reduced but official corruption has increased. We have never had it worse in this country before where police extort money from poor citizens with high impunity , yet we are claiming to be fighting corruption. Corruption in the Civil service has increased and there is basically nothing you can do in any Government ministry or agency today where you don’t need to drop an envelope. We have also succeeded in using our right hand to collect money and use our left hand to put it in our pocket. The Secretary to Government of the Federation was accused of corruption and it took us more than eight months to reluctantly suspend him. Many other Government officials that have been accused of corruption are still moving in Ask Rock. Yet! We are claiming to be fighting corruption.

We promised Nigerians we will fight insecurity, although today we have strategically defeated Boko haram but promoted the deadly Fulani Herdsmen. We have dedicated our energies to celebrate the return of the well nourished and fresh Chibok girls but failed woefully to take care of the millions of the same Boko haram victims in IDP camps hence thousands have died of malnutrition. Hunger and starvation are the greatest terrorist in the world. This is the level of our hypocrisy.

Where is the free meals we promised our kids in primary schools? They have not even see the plat talk less of the food in it.

Where is the 300,000 jobs we promised? . We have not only failed to provide these jobs, but contributed to the lose of jobs by many who were already employed before we came into power.

Where is the stipend we promised to be paying to poor Nigerians?

Nigeria under us is gradually moving into a failed State. A state that is engulfed with Economy quagmire . We met a fat economy but today we have brought poverty, hunger and pains.

We accused PDP of given us Jonathan who is a weakling but now we have shown to have a more weaker president . We accused Jonathan of ruling the government with cabal but total we are even running the government like a secret cult made up of few northern opportunist . We accused Jonathan of lacking the political will to deal with corrupt government officials but today we have seen worse. Where is Mr War Against In discipline?

We have used our levity and political ineptitude to make Jonathan who ought to be the worse enemy of Nigerians today to be seen as an hero and a better option. They even prefer we bring back corruption. This Is the level of our abysmal failure and disappointments to the Nigeria people.

The greatest casualties are those of us who are progressives and Buharist , may former Buharist who supported and campaigned for Buhari with all our blood. We shouted Sai Buhari! Sai Buhari! Mai Gaskiya! all over the streets and markets. In the church we shouted Sai Buhari, in our streets it was Sai Buhari, in the office it was Sai Buhari, everywhere it was Sai Buhari! But today we cannot even help our selves talk less of helping people around us. We have become strangers in our own government. We are ashamed of ourselves . We can’t move or speak freely again in the midst of our friends who warned us about Buhari, they have continue to ask us WHERE IS CHANGE? We have been so mocked by those who were prophets of doom and now they have become boastful that ‘We said it, We warned you.’ This is very painful and has killed our moral. We are speechless, helpless and pained because this was not what we expected.

With due respect, Buhari personality was a total misrepresentation . We were deceived by history text books and infuriated by the failure of Jonathan Government. PMB lacks what it takes to bring true change. He is only talented in religious bigotry, tribalism, favouritism and vindictiveness. Integrity and honesty without mental, physical ,moral capacity, trust and competence is nothing and can produce nothing in leadership.

PDP empowered their leaders and their leaders by extension empowered their supporters and their supporters also empowered friends, family and community. Sadly, as we speak even the leaders are lost and totally naive of what is happening at the Federal level. We only prepared for election but never prepared for governance.

It took Buhari two years to constitute ordinary University and Polytechnics Governing Councils. Many of the Government agencies and parastatals today are still been headed by PDP appointees while the true party leaders and members who understand the manifestoes of the party have not been considered for any appointment . We are in power but we are not in charge of the Government. 60% of people in the Buhari ‘s government today are those PDP members we accused of killing the country. How do we expect to bring change when we are using the same old elements in PDP to run a new government of purported change?

It took us more than six months to give Nigerians ministers and at the end we still ended up given Nigerians the worse Ministers we have ever had in our history apart from few of them who are truly doing their work effectively. We have cried that he should drop many of the ministers but to him, who are we to tell him? This is one of the example of the arrogance of Incumbency .

We gave PDP a true opposition and criticized everything they did, but today we have systematically silent opposition in Nigeria and people are afraid to talk apart from few who still have the spine.

We have used two years to lament and complain of the failures of PDP and all they stole. We have only used this as a feign excuse to hide our failures. True leadership solves problem and not complain. Two years is big enough to clean the Augean stable. We were not voted to lament but to solve problems and we have no excuse whatsoever why we should fail. Nigerians deserve our apologies now and we must continue to beg and apologize to them.

Painfully, there is no magic we can do now to change the orientation of Nigerians towards us. We have wasted two years and the next thing now is to start thinking of the next election, the next one year plus Is for preparation for the next election.

We currently control the National Assembly and under us Nigerians have experienced the worse legislative house in history. We have turned the National Assembly into a comic theatre and a citadel for corrupt studies.

Our only assignment now is to be thinking of a more younger and better Person that we can present as our presidential candidate in 2019. God forbid we still give Buhari ticket . Anyone who is already talking about that or still clapping for Buhari is suffering from dementia .

There are three classes of people among us who are telling Buhari to contest, they are

> Those who do not want people to laugh at them and can’t be humble enough to accept failure and apologise.

> Those who have vested interest to protect or are benefitting from the Government .

> The average sick sycophants suffering from political illusion and acute amnesia.

However, let it be on record that PDP can never still be an option in 2019. Apart from the fact that they are not yet ready, they can never be an option for us again.
