2021 KCPE candidates to join form one next month

1,225,502 candidates who sat the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations will report to secondary schools from May 3, 2022, announced the Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha.

Speaking during the launch of the Form One placement exercise on Monday in Nairobi, Prof. Magoha said that the candidates had been placed in 9,200 public schools countrywide.

According to CS Magoha, have been admitted to National schools and 214,960 have been placed in Extra-County schools. Additionally, 2,045 students will go to special needs schools while 218, 456 will be in County Schools.

At the same time, he announced May 3 as the reporting date for Form One students.

He has urged parents to send the index number of their 2021 KCPE candidates to the number 22263 in order to find out which school their child will attend. The SMS platform will be charged at a rate of Ksh 25, and it will be available on all mobile networks in Kenya.
