Davido, a Nigerian music icon, has delivered on his vow to donate N250 million to orphanage homes around the country.

In a statement posted to his Instagram stories on Tuesday evening, the musician provided an update, as well as the names of the orphanages that benefited from his generosity.
Remember how, ahead of his birthday in November 2021, Davido asked his pals to gift him N1 million apiece, and a large number of them responded, giving him a total of N200 million in less than 48 hours.
He did, however, add his personal donation of N50 million after admitting that he intended to donate the entire sum to charity.
