Mercy Eke, a Big Brother Naija celebrity and successful businesswoman, claims that having money doesn't guarantee happiness.

This was stated by the CEO of Lambo Homes and BBNaija "Pepperdem" winner on Saturday, July 2, in a post on her official Twitter account. She was upset about the unfortunate reality.

"Money is not happiness; I hate this life," Mercy Eke wrote on the micro-blogging platform.

Netizens reacted in the comment section, @obialoruchendu, "Once you make at least $3000 a month, that's around N1.2m per month. Most of your essential money problems will be solved. Next is finding happiness… Happiness comes from what you feed your mind, What you read, listen to, watch and the way you interpret events and self-worth".

Another commenter wrote, "But you played dirty to take BBN money."
