Controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh in a recent interview with Dele Momodu, says she has finally forgiven her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, for the sake of their child, King Andre.
She noted that she has realised that forgiveness is not about the next person but oneself.
When asked about her attitude to forgiveness and vindictiveness, she said;
“As of today, there is nobody I hold a grudge on, but there are people whom I have forgiven, but I would never have a relationship with again”.
Asked if she has forgiven her son’s father, she responded;
“Oh yes, especially him. I forgive him and wish him the best, for my son’s sake.
I do. Why not?”
Tonto Dikeh was married to Churchill but divorced over claims that Churchill was having an affair with Rosy Meueur, his secretary. Her ex-husband has gone ahead to marry Rosy, and both are blessed with a boy.
