Is it a crime to accept VP's invitation? Skit maker, Taaooma reacts to criticisms

Famous comedian and skit maker Greene-Apaokagi Maryam, known better as Taaooma, has stated the reasons for attending a meeting with Nigeria's Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, after she was lambasted online.

It was earlier reported that some of the country's popular online comedians, including Woli Agba, Josh2funny, paid a visit to VP Osinbajo and the development angered some Nigerians who questioned why the comedians, who should speak truth to people in power, are dining with politicians.

According to her, she spoke to the VP, urging him to lift the Twitter ban and added that she also brought up the issue of police brutality. She noted that there was no need to criticize her when it was an opportunity to make things work.
