'Nigeria Jaga Jaga' master Eedris Abdulkareem diagnosed with kidney failure

A popular Nigerian Hip Hop singer Eedris Abdulkareem is battling kidney failure and undergoing dialysis.

The Rights activist, "Nigeria Jaga Jaga" singer, asked Nigerians to pray for him as his operation is scheduled in July.

Eedris was diagnosed at a reputable hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. The transplant surgery date is now fixed for the end of July, and "all arrangements and text have been concluded, including certifying the compatibility status of the gracious donor - a family member.

"The Lakreem Entertainment Inc. boss has recently been diagnosed with kidney failure and has been undergoing dialysis since the detection at a reputable hospital in Lagos, Nigeria.

"The date for the transplant surgery is now fixed for the end of this month of July, and all arrangements and texts have been concluded, including certifying the compatibility status of the gracious donor (a family member)."

Standard Gazette spoke with the singer, who is full of life and high spirits.

The family statement also assured Eedris would "come out of this and blaze up the musical stage again in due course. Actually, his spirit emboldens us.

"We shall be updating you as we continue with this life-saving process."
