Our marriage was for social media stunt, it was not perfect - Kora Obidi's husband

Reading Time: 1 minute

Justin Dean, the husband of Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi, has apologized to young men and women who thought he and his wife had a wonderful marriage.

The father of two, who just announced his divorce from his wife, wrote on Instagram that he's upset and that it's saddening that his wife is unconcerned about their marital problems.

He went on to say that the number of likes and views on social media should not be the focus of any relationship.

"My apology to all the young men and women that believed we had a "perfect marriage".

"Marriage is based on mutual love, respect, humility, accountability, empathy, apologies, and effective communication to understand other people's perspectives.

"Likes and views shouldn't be the highlight of your relationship. Men: Your mental health matters! In order to be strong, you have to be happy."
