A young Nigerian man, identified as David Joseph Boyai, has sought advice on his Facebook page after his girlfriend of five weeks refused to cook for him.
He noted that he had been going to the market and cooking since they started dating, and he doesn’t think it is right.
He said his girlfriend claims she doesn’t know how to cook, but he doesn’t believe her because she posts pictures of food she allegedly cooked on her WhatsApp status.

Boyai also penned his displeasure that his girlfriend’s friends usually send him on errands as if he is their younger brother.
He wrote,
“Please, I need your advice. I have been dating this girl for the past five weeks now. but tell me, is it proper as the boyfriend to be cooking and going to the market every time?”
“She always complains that she doesn’t know how to cook, but I always see her WhatsApp status with food she prepared.
“The worst thing is that even her female friends will come to my house open fridge take drinks and I won’t talk, and they will also order me to buy them bread.”
