Teni, a Nigerian artist, was nearly kidnapped while performing on stage, and the incident was captured on camera and uploaded online, raising concerns about her safety and mental condition.

The singer was performing as a guest artist at a show in Buguma, Rivers State when she was allegedly kidnapped. Her security detail foiled the attempted kidnapping.

Witnesses at the event claimed that the singer's security fired a round of gunshots, sending people fleeing for safety.

Teni is seen performing to cheer fans before things take a turn in a video that captures the terrifying moment, and gunshots can be heard seconds later.

According to an eyewitness, people were hurried to the clinic due to the stampede. When a user asked if they tried to kidnap the singer, the eyewitness confirmed that they did, adding that Teni's security began firing rounds of ammunition at that point.
