What Nollywood actress Ada Ameh passed through few weeks before her death - AGN President
A popular actress notable for her role in the TV series, The Johnsons has died.
On Monday morning, Emeka Rollas, president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), officially announced Ameh's passing.
According to reports, the movie actor passed away Sunday night at a hospital in Warri, Delta state.
The actress reportedly passed out unexpectedly at a party and was taken right away to the Nigerian National Petroleum Hospital. But she passed away before they got to the hospital.
Abubakar Yakubu, national secretary of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), told newsmen that they were attempting to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death.
A few weeks after the actress disclosed that she was experiencing mental health concerns, she passed away.
"I have an issue right now, and it's taking my life, but I won't die. We would get over it. I was given a job, but I didn't do it because I have mental health issues," she had said.
