Nollywood Actress Damilola Adegbite has spoken on her experience with fellow actor Chris Attoh and their failed marriage.
The estranged couple, who started dating after working together on a movie, got married in February 2015 but divorced two years later.
Speaking in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the mother of one, talked about the circumstances that led to their union hitting the rocks.

“It didn’t work. I learnt a massive lesson from that experience, and it is that love is not enough. When you meet somebody, and you want to spend the rest of your life with them, love is just one of the qualities that you need, but it’s not everything.”
She also noted that the idea of getting married compulsorily and the desperation to do so is really a significant issue, which must be dealt with, saying that wasn’t part of her lifestyle.
According to her, a “failed marriage is not the tragedy people make it out to be. Not every marriage is ordained by God.” She also spoke on her travails, especially how she had fought and prayed hard right to the end of the marriage and how she knew in her heart that she tried.
