Why Portable was denied performance in Canada

Habeeb Okikiola, nicknamed Portable, a musician, has been denied the opportunity to perform at an upcoming performance in Canada organized by comedian MC Morris.

The comedian made the allegation on Instagram shortly after it was revealed that Portable had fired his management, deejay, and promoter.

The post read in part, “For those that are asking why I removed Idamu Adugboyin from my May 22 show. Talent is not enough; a beautiful song without a beautiful attitude is beautiful nonsense.

“Two managers in less than a year, even sack innocent DJ that his job na to play a song and scratch Shaka Shaka. I cannot Koshi mero am sorry. All transactions cancelled, and Ijoba Danku is sorry.”

Portable said in a live Instagram broadcast that his management, deejay, and promoter were all financially reliant on him.

However, the rising star advised them to quit him if they were not benefiting from him.
