In a Q&A session with her Instagram followers on Tuesday night, fashion designer Maureen Esisi explained why she and her ex-husband, Blossom Chukwujekwu, separated after four years of marriage.
Maureen claims that “Deceit” caused their breakup.
Blossom Chukwujekwu recently gave love another chance and wed in a traditional ceremony on May 20 in Benin City, the capital of Edo State, and a few days later on June 17 in a church.
However, Maureen disclosed during the Q&A session that she and her estranged spouse have not yet filed for divorce, which has generated controversy online.
When a fan inquired when the businesswoman and the actor had officially ended their marriage, she replied that she hadn’t yet received divorce papers.
How recently did you get divorced? Since you said you weren’t finished the last time we asked, why?” the follower questioned.
Maureen replied, “Last I checked, I signed No divorce paperwork,” in response.
Then, in response to a question from a different fan about why she didn’t sign the divorce papers, Maureen stated that she had never been served.
