As the fear of infection continues, the Nigerian Senate has on Thursday announced a partial closure of its activities to members of the public over Coronavirus
The move is a part of a measure to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the National Assembly Complex.
The Senate President Ahmad Lawan disclosed this after an hour closed-session on Thursday.
Lawan said public hearings and students' excursion to the Senate have been suspended till further notice.
The gallery where journalists and the general public usually meet to observe plenary proceedings have also been closed.
