The President of the African Bar Association (AfBA), Eddy Mark Esq., and his team are putting together a breathtaking extravaganza in conjunction with the Ghana Bar Association.
The theme for the upcoming 2025 African Bar Association (AfBA) Annual Conference in Ghana is “Foreign Interests in Africa: Exploitation or Investment.

Legal practitioners, policymakers, scholars, business stakeholders, and other stakeholders will gather to discuss various sub-themes, including:
- Access to justice and human rights in the context of foreign relationships.
- The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and its interaction with foreign investment.
- Legal challenges in aviation, banking, and finance, particularly prevalent with global financial influences.
- Governance, business, and regulatory frameworks surrounding foreign corporate interests.

- Sustainability and legal aspects of foreign investment in the construction and mining sectors.
This conference seeks to foster discussions that will help shape legal frameworks and strategies to ensure that foreign interests contribute positively to Africa’s development.
