My hearty congratulations to Your Excellency, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and other newly elected executives who will work with you to steer the ship of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). It has been no mean feat to emerge as you have done, following months of a rigorous campaign alongside various very strong contenders for the coveted office.

The great Nnamdi Azikiwe once wrote “history will continue to vindicate the just”. Your victory at the just concluded National Convention of our party, with votes from across the length and breadth of our country, is a clear embrace by the party, the APC, of your ideology of justice and fair play as the bedrock for national rebirth.

I rejoice with you because members of our party have spoken in clear terms with their votes, and have entrusted you with such a pivotal responsibility in the full confidence that you will lead without fear to advance the best interests of the party.

For us in Edo State in particular who know you well and appreciate you, your emergence as our National Chairman at this time, when our party seeks unity and cohesion for proper positioning towards the 2019 general elections in Nigeria is truly auspicious.

I congratulate you warmly and heartily on your well earned, well-deserved victory, and I have total confidence that you will deliver mightily on the full potential and more of your mandate to lead our party to victorious new highs.

As you prepare to land running and grapple with the enormous responsibility bestowed on you, please accept the assurances of my esteemed regards and full cooperation at all times.

Congratulations to our new Chairman.

Yours truly,
Erhabor Emokpae
Edo South
