The family of a 47-year-old man, identified as Charles Obaretin, has called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to investigate the circumstances surrounding his murder in Ologbo community, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.
It was gathered that the deceased, a graduate of mechanical engineering from the Auchi Polytechnic, was killed last week, Monday, when he went to seek for employment in an oil company.

It was further gathered that Charles’ friend, identified as Saturday, introduced him to the job located at Obayantor area, which he told the deceased attracted a monthly salary of N120, 000.
The Edo State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Moses Nkombe, who confirmed the incident, said it was a cult-related case.
He said investigation into the matter was ongoing.
He called on the public to give useful information to the police in their determination to apprehend the perpetrators.
