Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced fifty-one (51) new cases of COVID-19 .
This was disclosed via its twitter handle on Friday evening.
According to NCDC, 32 were confirmed in Lagos, 6 in Kano, 5 in Kwara, 2 in the Federal Capital territory (FCT), 2 in Oyo, 2 in Katsina, 1 in Ogun and 1 in Ekiti State.
So far, the country has recorded 17 deaths and 159 discharged patients.
The nation has a total of 493.
