Judy Mutave Muasya, a woman who sued a Kenyan televangelist and House of Grace bishop David Muriithi for child neglect, has raised an alarm over her security.

According to Judy, his brother spotted a Mercedes Benz occupied by unknown people in her compound in Nairobi’s Kilimani.

She said the occupants of the vehicle knocked severally, but no one opened for them.

The woman had gone to court seeking a $1000 monthly allowance for child maintenance.

Through her lawyer Danstan Omari, Judy wants bishop Muriithi to help him pay school fees for their son and pay for other costs such as $200 for food and shopping, $350 for rent, $110 for clothing, house help $100, $50 for entertainment, $30 for utilities, $20 for toys, and $10 salon.

Judy claimed they met with the bishop in 2018 and entered into a romantic relationship that led her to give birth in January 2019.

Through her affidavit, she claimed that the Man of God was supportive during pregnancy but neglected his responsibility as the biological father when she conceived.

“The Plaintiff avers that the Defendant has threatened her that he will not give his support towards the maintenance of the minor by claiming that he is a Bishop with no salary thus denying the minor what is rightfully his” reads court documents.

“The Plaintiff avers that the Defendant is a Bishop of a reputable church within the Republic of Kenya who lives a high-end life and is not willing to offer his child the same kind of life which is a clear indication of discrimination on his part,” she added.
