Abba Kyari’s Remains Arrives Abuja

The remains of the Abba Kyari, Nigerian Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at about 9am on Saturday.

Though Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said the official burial date has not been fixed, the remains of the late Chief of Staff is expected to be interred today, according to Islamic injunctions.

However, there is an unconfirmed report that the Chief of Staff has been buried according to the laydown rules by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

Photos and videos are indicating that Kyari has been buried.

The news of Kyari’s death was first announced by Adesina via twitter on Friday evening.

Kyari died of COVID-19 complications at a private clinic in Lagos.
