Blocked street causes protest in Ogba

Residents of Olufemi Ogunsola Street under the aegis of New Life Community Development Association at Agege, Ifako Ijaiye Local Government in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, this morning, took to the streets to protest over an access road that has been blocked.

Residents said the access motorway linking Olufemi Ogunsola and Ijaiye roads was blocked by Dr. Jobi Ososanya.

Residents claimed that Ososanya had earlier in the week blocked the access road, thereby preventing movement through the street.

The Chairman New Life Community Development Association, Alhaji Dele Folorunsho condemned the action, saying it is inhuman.

Residents carried placards that read: “Fashola save us from oppressors. Save Our Souls.”

At the time of going to press, the residents were on their way to the governor’s office to make their grievances known.
