Body of murdered CBN couple's son found inside river

The body of a young man named Oreoluwa Fatinoye has been recovered from the Ogun River, three days after his parents, Kehinde and Bukola Fatinoye, were killed by unknown assailants in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, Nigeria.

The couple were attacked shortly after returning from a New Year's Day church service, and their house and corpses were subsequently set on fire.

Oreoluwa and the Fatinoyes' maid were also abducted and thrown into the river during the incident.

The state police hired divers to search for the bodies, and Oreoluwa's remains were found on Tuesday.

His hands were reportedly tied behind his back with rope. The police are currently investigating the deaths of the Fatinoyes.
