Breaking: Kidnapped Police Officer, ASP Clement Amoko Regains Freedom

The Assistant Superintendent of Police of the State Investigation Bureau of the Edo State Police Command, ASP Clement Amoko, who was kidnapped in the early hours of Sunday, has been rescued.

The operation was carried out by men of the Edo State Police command’s various tactical and strike forces.

ASP Amoko, who was rescued unhurt, has since reunited with his family.

A police source said, since his abduction’s news broke out, Policemen have been out to ensure he is released unhurt.

Standard Gazette had reported that ASP Clement Amoko was kidnapped by some daredevil gunmen in his residence at Ogida quarters in Benin City, Edo State, on Sunday morning.
