The President of Talakawa Parliament, Mr. Maxi Kola was arrested by the Edo State police command this morning on the order of the Police commissioner, Mr. Haliru Gwandu.
NAIJA CENTER had reported how Gwandu declared Kola and Barr. Oviawe wanted after the duo criticized him on ITV morning program.

Both men were planning a mass protest against the CP before Kola’s arrest.
CP Gwandu has been described by the youths as the most corrupt Commissioner Edo State has ever had.

Two concerned Edo people, Rev. Olu Martins and Comrade Austin Osakue joined the arrested Edokpayi at the State Police Headquarters engaging the D.C.
Few minutes later, the police drove out with Kola to an unknown destination.
