The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Osogbo, has ruled to remove Governor Ademola Adeleke from office.
The tribunal, in a 2-1 decision, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw Adeleke’s Certificate of Return and issue it to former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

The majority judgement, read by the Chairman, Justice Tertse Kume, stated that Oyetola received the majority of lawful votes (314,931) compared to Adeleke’s 219,666.
