President Muhammadu Buhari called ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday following an attack at his Otuoke residence in Bayelsa State.
Buhari expressed sympathy through the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu on Tuesday in Abuja.

The President described the attack as tragic and unfortunate as a soldier lost his life during the attack.
Mr President commended the gallant soldiers who repelled the gunmen while condoling with the family members of the soldiers who died during the event.
Buhari assured that his administration would continue to take very seriously, the protection of life and properties of former leaders and citizens of Nigeria.
