“Nothing unpleasant has happened to the President”, the Senior Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Garba Shehu stated on Sunday evening.
There were speculations that President Muhammadu Buhari who had travelled to the United Kingdom on a follow-up on his medical check up had passed away.
Shehu on his post urged Nigerians to disregard the baseless rumours trending regarding the President, describing it as a lie to spread panic.
“Baseless rumors are trending again that an unpleasant thing has happened to our beloved President, Muhammadu Buhari.
If you have received this information on WhatsApp or Facebook, disregard it because it is plain lies spread by vested interests to create panic.
“No cause for apprehension.”
NAIJA CENTER NEWS also confirmed that the President is alive, from a source closed to him in the United Kingdom.
Responding to the disturbing inquiry, the source said “Baba is doing fine.”
