Busted! Woman On Twitter Falsely Claims She is Diagnosed With Cancer

Nigerians on social media were shocked on Thursday to learn that a call for help made by a Twitter user regarding a cancerous disease was fake.

Online scam among Nigerians have become a menace and the shocking attempt to claim you have cancer is not even shocking to many who see this as a norm.

A popular Doctor and youth activist, @aprokodoctor called out on Nigerians who donated to the lady that it was indeed a scam.

“If you donated your money to this handle yesterday, I’m sorry you were scammed.

A resident doctor in the hospital they claimed to be in couldn’t find their records, she has deleted the thread and changed her name to @soliatul

These scammers use your emotions against you.”

A popular hip hop artist known as nairamarley had also promised to give to the now busted scam saying, “what God cannot do does not exist.”

There is the need for more people to ensure they verify every info on donations as online scam in Nigeria reaches a whole new level.
