In Edo State, the Church of God Mission International (CGMI) announced over the weekend that it is set to host its 2025 Mega Convention, expecting over 40,000 delegates from Nigeria and beyond.
The convention will feature powerful teachings, worship experiences, and various impactful leadership programs designed to uplift and transform lives.
Codenamed MegaCon 2025 and themed “Focus on Christ for Immeasurable and Infinite Love,” this event promises to provide all attendees with a spiritually enriching and life-changing experience.
Rev. (Mrs.) Maureen Okoro-Sokoh, the chairperson of the Mega Convention, stated that the event will take place from August 4 to August 10 at the Balm of Gilead in Benin.
Okoro-Sokoh added that the gathering will not only reflect CGMI’s spiritual authority but also promote local tourism, hospitality, and business growth in Edo State.
She noted that Archbishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa, the presiding Archbishop of CGMI, will be joined by renowned ministers, including Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide.
Additionally, Bishop (Dr.) Feb Idahosa, CGMI Cabinet Head and President of Benson Idahosa University, Bishop Wale Oke, President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), and many other distinguished ministers are expected to attend.

“CGMI MegaCon remains the ministry’s flagship event, attracting thousands of believers, leaders, and seekers annually for worship, renewal, and spiritual growth.”
The program will include leadership training, youth involvement, empowerment sessions, and community development aimed at deepening faith and promoting practical Christian engagement.
Archbishop Benson-Idahosa described MegaCon 2025 as a divine appointment and urged all believers to completely refocus on Christ’s immeasurable and unfailing love.
“This gathering offers an opportunity to reconnect with Christ, the center of our faith, and to experience His limitless, transforming, and eternal love,” she noted.
