Unknown gunmen have abducted a classroom teacher, Mrs Carol Ugwekpe and an unidentified person.
The duo was abducted along Fugar-Ekperi road in Etsako Central local government area of Edo State.
The gunmen accosted their victims at about 4:30 on 6 May 2021.

The victims were forced into the push and have been in the kidnappers’ den ever since.
The Fugar Vigilante members, Hunters and other security agencies have stepped up action to rescue the victims.
The hoodlums have called the family members, using the victims’ mobile phones, to demand thirty million nairas as ransom.
The family are currently appealing to the abductors to reconsider their N30 million ransom position.
The police in Edo is yet to make any public statement on the incident.
