Etete community in Oredo Local government of Edo State has expressed sadness over the demolition of Etete Primary school in Sapele road.
It could be recalled that the government had given notification to house owners of possibilities of losing their homes if it was built under the high tension cable.

Parents who had hoped the state government could resort to an alternative in proffering solution to the high cable tension problem said the demolition has compounded their problems as the kids would have to go to Evboriaria Primary school, which is some kilometres away.
The mini business owners in the area also complained to NAIJA CENTER NEWS correspondent that they would have to relocate as most of the businesses were for the students.
Our correspondent saw the youths in the area selling off the office furnitures, iron doors, windows, zinc, planks and other items removed from the school.
NAIJA CENTER NEWS found out that the iron doors were sold at the rate of N4000 and attempt to investigate who gave the nod for the demolition and selling off of the property proved abortive.
