Confusion as Abba Kyari’s accomplices plead guilty in Court
Abba Kyari, a disgraced deputy commissioner of police, has been taken before a federal high court in Abuja by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Sunday J. Ubia, Bawa James, Simon Agirigba, and John Nuhu are among the other defendants in the FHC/ABJ/57/2022 allegation. The three defendants are members of the Intelligence Response Team of the police force (IRT)
Two suspected drug traffickers, Chibunna Patrick Umeibe and Emeka Alphonsus Ezenwanne were apprehended at Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu.
However, while Abba Kyari pleaded not guilty, the two others pleaded guilty to the charges asking the Court for liniency.
