The Federal lawmaker made the statement during the training of over 200 women and youths on shoemaking and bag production organized by the National Assembly member as part of his constituency projects in conjunction with the federal government’s Peace and Conflict Resolution Committee.

The training programme, one of the numerous constituency projects carried out by Jude Ise-Idehen since assuming office, attracted women and youths drawn from Egor and ikpoba okha local government areas.

Those that participated in the training were empowered to enable them to set up their own businesses.

The house of Representatives member Jude Ise Idehen said that because of limited job opportunities in the country, self-employment is the best way to go, hence the reason for the training of women and youths.

The Federal lawmaker urged the trainees to use their new skills to positively impact their lives and society.

The consultant for the programme, Engineer George Anigboro, commended Jude Ise Idehen for facilitating the programme to his constituency.

The participants appreciated the facilitator allowing them to acquire knowledge and skills.

They assured him that the gesture would go a long way to put food on their table and make them business owners.

After the two weeks course, the trainees were empowered with the facilities and funds to enable them to start up their own by the NASS member Hon.
