A Sharia Court sitting in Kano state has ordered that the controversial female TikToker, Murja Kunya, be taken to a psychiatric hospital for a mental check.
The Presiding Judge, Justice Nurah Yusuf, gave the order following the inadequate behaviour expressed by the accused during the court hearing on Tuesday.
Murja, who is facing charges of indecency and immorality brought against her by the Kano State Hisbah Board, appeared before the court early Tuesday morning for the continuation of her trial.

The Judge, however, expressed worry about Murja’s conduct during the court proceedings and demonstrated that she might be under the influence of drugs or could be dealing with a mental illness.
Justice Yusuf, therefore, directed her release from the correctional facility to the custody of the Hisbah Board, where she can be taken to the hospital for a mental health test.
