The temporary closure of Borders due to rampaging COVID-19 Pandemic by Countries may well be a blessing in disguise for general Business Community if they engage more in researches to break new frontiers in Edo State.
Reminding Business Owners of the need to leverage and deepened on the vacuum created by the Pandemic disease, is the President of the Benin Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, BENNCIMMA, Edo State, Dr Helen Atekha-Odemwingie.

Dr Atekha-Odemwingie who believes that conducting veritable researches would mean a partway to redefi ning the business environment and further avail members opportunity for improved skills post Coronavirus, added that, Solutions finding is a necessity that can only come from critical thinking that would build a prosperous State.
According to her, “we implore business owners to take advantage of this stay at the home period to research, plan and learn new skills that will further improve their Businesses Post Coronavirus Era”.
Continuing, She maintained that, “this becomes necessary to the contribution of the private sector in finding solutions to the myriad of problems plaguing the society”.
While commending the state government efforts towards inhibiting the Spread of COVID-19, She encouraged Government to provide palliatives like Tax rebates, a moratorium on state-funded credit support services for its citizens and developmental partners.
The BENNCIMMA President, while pledging her commitments to provide support for the fight against COVID-19, explained that in Complementing efforts of government, she would enforce the mobilization of its workforce and other vital resources to winning the war.
The umbrella of the organized private sector and voice of the Business Community in Edo State, advised members and the general public to take precautionary measures seriously, saying the Pandemic disease is real.
