COVID-19: 204 New Cases Recorded, Total 1932

Nigeria has recorded 204 new cases of COVID-19, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

The new cases were announced via Twitter on Thursday night.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1932.

Of the 204 new cases, 80 was confirmed in Kano, 45 in Lagos, and 12 in Gombe

Other states affected are Bauchi and Sokoto with 9 cases respectively, 7 in Borno and Edo states, River and Ogun States recorded 6 each, the Federal Capital territory, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa also confirmed 4 cases each, 3e in Kaduna, 2 in Oyo, 2 in Delta, 2 in Nasarawa, 1 in Ondo and Kebbi States.

As of 11:50 pm on the 30th of April, Nigeria has recorded 58 deaths and discharged 319.

Thursday’s new cases are the highest ever reported since the country’s infection of the virus in February.
