Edo State has recorded 10 new cases of COVID-19, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
NCDC in a tweet on Monday night showed that Edo now has a total of 62 confirmed cases with 48 being the active cases.
The state is the 11th worst-hit state in Nigeria after Sokoto that has 68 cases.
Though the governor, Godwin Obaseki has placed several measures to curtail the spread, the number has continued to rise since its index case, the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly Frank Okiye
Obaseki also on April 20 imposed a 10-day dusk to dawn curfew.
The state has discharged 10 patients and lost 4 including 1 death recorded on Monday night by NCDC.
