Cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria has continued to grow despite the country measures to curtail it.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 184 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus on Wednesday night.
The information disclosed via its Twitter handle brings the total number to 4,971 cases.

Of the 184 new cases, Lagos recorded 51, followed by 23 in Jigawa state, 16 each were confirmed in Bauchi and Katsina, Kano recorded 14 new cases and 10 were recorded in the FCT and Rivers.
Other states mentioned by the NCDC are: 9 in Kwara, 5 recorded in Delta state, Sokoto recorded 4 along with its counterpart in Oyo. 3 each were recorded in Kebbi, Nasarawa and Osun state; Ogun recorded 2 while Edo, Enugu; Anambra; Plateau and Niger confirmed 1 each.
Nigeria has also recorded 164 deaths and discharged 1,070 patients.
