COVID-19: Nigeria Confirms 5 New Cases, Total Now 323

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

The disclosure was made via twitter on Sunday evening.

According to NCDC, two were confirmed in Lagos State, two in Kwara and one in Katsina State.

The country now has 323 confirmed cases spread across 19 states out of the 36 as well as the Federal Capital territory, Abuja.

NCDC tweeted “Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows: 2 in Lagos 2 in Kwara 1 in Katsina As at 09:10 pm 12th April there are 323 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 85 have been discharged with 10 deaths There are 19 states with confirmed cases in Nigeria”

President Muhammadu Buhari had urged Nigerians to remain in doors to curtail the spread of the virus.
