COVID-19: Nigeria Hits 1337 As NCDC Confirms 64 New Cases

Nigeria has recorded 64 new cases of COVID-19 making it a total of 1337, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control disclosed.

According to NCDC via its twitter on Monday night, of the 64 new cases, 24 were confirmed in Lagos, 15 in the Federal Capital Territory, 11 in Borno, 2 in Taraba and Gombe respectively.

The country has discharged 255 persons while 40 people have died due to complications.

Since the outbreak in China in December 2019, the novel Coronavirus has claimed at least 208, 973 lives, according to a report compiled on Monday by AFP.

So far, 818, 700 have reportedly recovered while more than 2, 997, 540 have been confirmed in 193 countries.
