The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria has continued to increase despite measures by the state and federal government.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced 386 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
This brings the total number of the confirmed cases to 3,912, according to its disclosure via Twitter on Friday night.

Of the 386 cases, the highest of it was confirmed in Lagos State with 176 cases, followed by Kano State with 65 cases, 31 were confirmed in Katsina, the Federal capital territory recorded 20 cases, 17 confirmed in Bauchi, 14 in Nasarawa.
Other states are Ogun State with 13 cases, 10 in Plateau, 4 in Oyo, Sokoto and Rivers State, 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Edo, 2 in Ebonyi and Ondo and 1 in Enugu, Imo, Gombe and Osun States.
Nigeria has also recorded a number of deaths and recovery. As of on Friday, 676 has been discharged while 117 died of the COVID-19 complications.
