Group of Edo youths who protested to government house and NPDC Sapele Road may have bitten more than they could chew as the Commissioner of Police has charged one Curtis Ugbo, the leader of the Benin Solidarity Movement with felony: Instigating the invasion of Nigeria.
Benin Solidarity Movement had also protested to House of Assembly, Government House, Police Command Headquarters, the Palace and State Command Headquarters to submit petitions on the need for the authorities to intervene over the ownership of Gelegele which the Ijaws have been claiming ownership.

The next day, the leader, Curtis Ugbo received an invitation to come to government house where he was whisked away by men in uniform.

Count 1. That you Curtis Eghosa Ugbo on the 20th day of March, 2017 at NPDC Sapele Road, within the Oredo Magisterial District did conspire among yourselves to commit Felony to wit: Instigating the invasion of Nigeria and hereby committed an offence punishable under section 516 of the Criminal Code.
Count 2. That you Curtis Ugbo on the 20th day of March, 2017 at the NPDC Sapele Road instigated a group of intellectuals some of who are foreigners to invade the NPDC office in Benin City, Government House Complex House of Assembly with a threat to use the Military Wing of the Benin Solidarity Movement to launch atacks on the Oil Producing Communities all within the territory of Nigeria and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 38 of the Criminal Code.
