Delta State Police Command has apprehended eight suspected kidnappers and recovered four million naira ransom collected from the victims and promised that the command will deal decisively against criminals threatening the peace and security of the state.
Briefing journalists on the kidnapping incident at the police headquarters in Asaba, the Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, SP Edafe Bright, said, the eight suspected kidnappers, who are alleged to be herdsmen kidnapped a lady at Agbarho in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state and demanded four million naira ransom.
According to the PPRO, the incident was reported to the police and the Rapid Response Squad swag into action eight suspected kidnappers were arrested where they were sharing their loot, along with the wooden gun they used in kidnapping the victims and recovered eight million naira ransom collected from the Victim.
