Delta State Police Command has apprehended a notorious drug dealer, Mr Onos Afokoghene, in Jeddo Town, Okpe Local Government Area, along with another suspect, in possession of 400 live Cartridges In Asaba, the State Capital.
In a Statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Edafe Bright, says the drug dealer was arrested on the tenth of October, 2025, following credible intelligence by operatives of Orerokpke Police Division.
The Statement explains that Onos Afokoghene has been on the wanted list of the police, known for distributing large quantities of hard drugs within Warri metropolis and other surrounding communities.

SP Edafe stated that the Divisional police officer in charge of Orerokpke, CSP Paul Obaware, and his team swung into action and apprehended the alleged notorious drug dealer at a flashpoint, where the suspect and other alleged hoodlums allegedly engaged in the sale and consumption of Illicit drugs.
The Delta State Police image maker said, “When the suspect sensed the approach of the police team, they attempted to escape, but the team swiftly closed in and arrested Onos Afokoghene and other hoodlums.
Items recovered from the suspects were Canadian loud, Indian Hemp, soaked weed, suspected to be Indian hemp in dry gin, locally known as monkey tail, several tramadol of various milligrams, and two POS machines suspected To Be used for drug transactions.”
