Edo State House of Assembly has adopted a resolution calling on the Nigeria Police to declare the alleged perpetrators in the gruesome killing of one Mr Frank Osagie and attempted murder of others in Evbuorohun Community, Iyekogba ward 2, Oredo Local Government Area, wanted.
The resolution is a sequel to the presentation and consideration of the report of the House Standing Committee on Public Petitions on a petition titled “The case of gruesome murder of one Mr Frank Osagie and attempted murder of Mr Victor Iredia, Mr Osagiator Amadasun, Mr Monday Ohonba, Mr Osaigbovo Aghariaha, and others by Marvis Agbontaen, Osazee Okunrobo, and others at Evbuorohun Community in Iyekogba Ward 2, Oredo Local Government Area.
The report, which was considered by the Committee, had Ten Findings and one recommendation, which included that the petitioners are members of the Elders council of the Community.

The House thereafter adopted the resolution, with the Speaker Rt Hon Blessing Agbebaku directing the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Yahaya Audu Omogbai, to make clean copies of the resolution available for appropriate action.

It is said that Mr Osagie was murdered over a community issue on the 9th of June 2025, and the security agencies have not yet unravel the killers, which prompted the petitioners to approach the legislative arm for Succour.
