Edo Police track and arrest robbery suspects in their hideout in Etsako

Two suspected armed robbers have been arrested by men of the Edo State command.

Ozegbe Ade Oseghale, 27 and Abdulazeez Abdullahi, 37, were arrested on 29 June 2022 at about 11:30 pm after a tip-off.

The police said the duo, who had been on the security watch list since January 2022, are responsible for numerous attacks in Etsako West Local government area of Edo State.

The suspects were tracked and arrested in their hideout in the Aviele area of Agbede in Etsako.

One locally made pistol, two live cartridges, Toyota Camry car with reg. Number KTU-970-GG and weeds suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered from them.

The Suspects will be charged to court when the investigation is concluded, the police said.

The Edo State Commissioner of Police, CP Abutu Yaro, said the Command will continue to raid criminal hideouts in Edo State.
