Text Size:

The abducted Edo State PDP Chairman, Dr Tony Aziegbemi, has finally regained freedom and is back home in good health.

In a thank you message, a member of the family, Dr Clem Aziegbemi, gave God all the Glory for the successful release unhurt and reuniting with his family.

Dr Clem said he got home at about 3 am on the 26th day of March 2024.

He said that as members of the Aziegbemi family, they sincerely thank everybody for the great show of love and solidarity throughout the unfortunate and ugly adoption of Edo PDP boss Dr Tony Aziegbemi.

Dr Clem expressed his most gratefulness for everyone’s most valuable contributions through prayers and steadfastness all the period the chairman was under Captivity.

However, it is not clear whether or not a ransom was paid for his release.

The Edo State PDP Chairman was two weeks ago kidnapped at the country home Motel Road on his way home after a meeting at Government House.
