Eight people have been confirmed dead following a fatal road crash at Ngata in Nakuru, Northwest of Nairobi.
The Tuesday morning incident involved a van and a stalled truck. Reports indicate the van rammed into the stalled truck on the busy Nakuru-Nairobi Highway.
The van was heading to Kisii, in the western part of the country, from Nairobi. It is alleged that the vehicle had more than 15 people on board.

Among the dead are 6 adults and 2 children. Their bodies have been transferred to the mortuary pending investigations.
