On Sunday, a former Kenyan lawmaker Joe Mutambu escaped death by a whisker after his vehicle was involved in a horrible accident at Kavenge along Thika-Mwingi highway, Kenya’s Southeastern.
The incident was reported to have taken place at 11 pm.
Mr. Mutambu was said to have left the Enziu river accident scene where an unknown number of people perished after a bus belonging to St Joseph’s Seminary Mwingi plunged into the river.
The ex-legislator was heading to Nairobi after visiting the scene.
According to the media reports, Mutambu’s vehicle rolled several times after colliding with a tractor, killing the driver on the spot.
The MP, alongside the other three passengers who survived the crash, was rushed to Matuu Level Four hospital for medical attention.
